We just celebrated the 4th of July out here in beautiful Springfield, OR--but to continue to celebrate the joy of our beautiful country, we wanted to share with you a surprisingly simple piece of news about the new Toyota Camry:

It ranked at the top of Cars.com's American-Made Index; that means that--based on factors like percentage of domestic parts used, U.S. assembly, and sales numbers in the country--the Camry is one of the vehicles with its roots deepest in American soil.

And we sure think that's something to be proud of.

It's hard not to notice that the 2016 Toyota Prius has made a few, ahem, minor upgrades to its once-modest exterior:

But every inch of those upgrades came with subtle benefits. Because the newest generation of the iconic Prius is gearing up to be the most efficient yet.

Our favorite Japanese automaker just revealed the 2017 Toyota 86 and it's the FR-S with a new nameplate. With a bigger battery pack and a gorgeously dynamic design even for Prius standards, this car aims to offer 120 mpgE - a 26% increase over the previous plug-in - and a maximum combined driving range of over 600 miles!
