You'll be hard-pressed to find as formidable a family vehicle as the audacious 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser. This full-size SUV has been a staple in its segment since it came into its own as a modern eight-passenger SUV decades ago, and that doesn't change for the 2016 model year.
There's no going halfway with the Land Cruiser, as you can sense from its foreboding stature, and as such, it comes in only one, fully-loaded trim level. One modification you can look forward to for 2016 is its new powertrain. While the 5.7-liter V8 carries over, last year's six-speed is replaced by a new eight-speed automatic for improved acceleration and efficiency.
